How to Read The Witcher Books in the Right Order

The Witcher is a dark fantasy series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Originally written in Polish, the saga gained worldwide fame thanks to its video game adaptation by CD Projekt Red and the Netflix series starring Henry Cavill.

The books are not published in chronological order, which can confuse new readers. To fully enjoy Geralt’s journey, it’s best to follow the internal story order.

This guide includes both short stories and the main saga.
